How can I boot Linux when Windows hibernation?
I want to be able to hibernate Windows, then Linux boot so you can before Windows startup, when I need it. Problem is, when the Windows hibernation, the computer starts Windows automatically without displaying a selection screen operating system. How can I fix this? I Ubuntu. Also, when a computer is in hibernation, it is completely off. Hibernation saves only data from memory to disk to reload later.
What they are doing should work, the only reason I see is if you are using Windows as your bootloader. If you are using GRUB as your bootloader then you should be doing an advanced function to suspend instead of hibernate. I can imagine a state of hibernation third program that uses the service partition, but I know nothing specific about it.
