How do I sell my old versions of Windows XP?
I have a copy of Windows XP Home and an OEM Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 I no longer need and want to put the bid on eBay. These copies have been installed and activated, but no longer in use since I bought the full version of Windows Vista on a blank hard disk, so I was wondering if there is a way for the license to go to another team so my Winning bidders will be able to install and activate the software. Is there something I need to do before putting it on sale, how to contact Microsoft, etc?
In the past year, Microsoft stopped to sell new WPA codes. So you can not use someone else's CD and buy a product key Mircrosoft. The only way to go about doing this is to sell the HD also. But then it must be compatilble, right startup files and so and so and so. In reality, not its worth it. If you can find Somone with the system exactly as you, then I would say that you can sell the HD to the operating system for them. But in reality, only kept as a backup or additional storage. Its really not worth it. I sell XP Pro, Media Center, and throughout the day for $ 50 100 one with a code number already used, is worthless. If you have any questions, please send me an email at the email address on my site. Let me know how it goes! Mr. Jon Ellender Tech Texas Tech Services visit us on the web @ http://texastech.mycv.bz
