Hawaiian language is worth learning?
I am planning on going to graduate school in the near future in Hawaii, and I wondered if I should learn a little of the language through language software. I know almost everyone these days, Hawaiians speak the English language, but sounds good when spoken. Okay worth it? It has also been difficult to find computer programs such as "Instant Immersion" to start learning the language, where can I find software that teaches Hawaiian language? Thanks for all your helpful answers.
Aloha From what I've been watching the news and local newspapers, etc. Native Hawaiian take their culture seriously and are working hard to prevent the loss of their language. There are a number of Hawaii "immersion" in it gradeschools what children learn and use in class – is valuable in their culture do not see how the learning of Hawaii is a bad thing, I say go for it!
