What are the best study guides for MS Word and Excel 2003 for certification of one with little experience?

I have to learn Word and Excel to improve my resume as a tax accountant, I want to learn and obtain certification, both within 2-4 months. Can you recommend any of the guides study used for the 2003 series of multiple sclerosis?

There are a few places to get help. Depends on your preferences, and what style of book you learn best. The first place to start would be a good bookstore (ie, Barnes and Noble, Borders, etc) out of the book series entitled MS Press Step by Step. These books are actually designed to walk through the topics needed to pass exams MOUs. They are very tightly coupled to the test, which provides a good real-world examples and serve as a nice reference book for the coming years. The other sources are courses element K (http://elementkcourseware.com/welcome.do ) And Thomson Course Technology (http://www.course.com/catalog/default.cfm). These companies offer instructor-led class materials used in the business world each day. I used to do corporate training classes throughout Massachusetts. I would like to use this manual almost interchangeably. The disadvantage of these is that you would to buy a book for each level in each program. For example, a book of Introduction to Excel, one for intermediate, and another for advanced. There may be more like macros and VBA. You will have to check out the offerings at each site of business. Of the two companies, Thomson's books are more realistic and are very colorful with lots of catches screen. The element of K's books are less attractive, but are extremely detailed in their descriptions of each step in each exercise. Finally, I go step on the path first step. And by all means, stay away from the series Dummies "books. If you are serious about learning the subject, then get some serious books. Good luck!
